About Us
Monica was born and raised in Ann Arbor Michigan. Her parents are Colombian...so she is very much a mix of both cultures. She has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Masters in Business from the University of CA at Berkeley. She worked as a product manager for many years in high tech and has now moved over to Consumer Packaged Goods where she is an Assistant Brand Manager...this has been much more fun. She loves to spend time with friends and family and her dog Chiqui!
Who is Monica Mesa?
Ammar was born and raised in Pune India. Ammar loved physics and math from a young age. After working on software for a while he moved to graduate school and worked on various problems. His initial work was in radiative transfer theory. He loved this subject and spent many hours working out the equations to describe the light propagation in the Earth's ocean and atmosphere. He then switched to working on plasma problems. His current work focuses on developing an understanding of fusion processes in a bid to create a cheap and abundant source of energy. Ammar loves to read and has a passion for hiking and just being in the outdoors. He also loves spending time with Chiqui!

How did they meet?
They are a modern day couple...they met online! Monica joined a site at 3:00am...and Ammar responded at 8:00am that same morning! They met for lunch, and that was it. There was chemistry right away and since that time they have found that being in the other’s company makes them feel complete and fulfilled. They both look forward to a long and happy life together, spending it with their family their friends.
