Many of you are now planning your trip to Colorado. Colorado is a great state to spend some time if you have it! The location of the wedding, Georgetown CO is very central to the Colorado Rocky Mountains. It is right in the “entry” to famous ski towns such as Winterpark, Breckenridge, Vail, and Aspen. We highly recommend making a trip of your visit and going to some of these places! Below are some of the places to visit:
Coming From Out of Town
During your weekend in Colorado you have several options. You can stay in Georgetown and be a mile from all the wedding events, or you can choose to stay in a town like Breckenridge (20 miles from Georgetown) or Vail (30 miles from Georgetown) and enjoy a ski town weekend. You can even stay in Denver (40 minutes to Georgetown). If you don’t feel like driving much I would recommend staying in Georgetown.
Georgetown is a small town and does not offer many hotel accommodations. We have reserved several rooms at the Super 8 (~$70/night, breakfast included) and at the Chateau Chamonix (~$200/night, A french boutique, breakfast included). If you are interested in the Chateau Chamonix please call us at (510) 912-6372 because we have all the rooms under our name so that we can receive a special discount. Other than these options there are a few bed and breakfasts which I’ve listed below. Please call us if you have problems finding a room.
